Summer school on social networks 2010
The summer school will be a mix of theoretical and practical courses, which will be taught by ten world experts in the field. It will be organized in modules (2×3h of lectures) over 5 days. The range of topics covered is quite diverse and reflects the latest research in the field.

Application procedure: The maximum number participants that will be accepted to the summer school is 35. As we except the number of applicants to exceed this number, students will be offered a place based on academic record. Registration fees will be covered by PIMS for all accepted participants. Accommodation expenses will also be covered by PIMS.

(3) A letter of recommendation from your academic advisor (should be sent directly by your supervisor)
by the application deadline of FEBRUARY 15, 2010. Application material should be sent using this application page.
Notification of acceptance will be e-mailed out on March 15.
Accommodations: A block of rooms has been reserved at the Fairmont Chateau Whistler. The arrival date is June 20 and the departure date is June 25.
Additional support: Meals and travel will be partially covered for each participant. The exact amount to be covered will be announced by March 15.
Dining: There are several reasonable prices restaurants and grocery stores within walking distance from the hotel.
